Its easy to state that this decision for interrupt servers is dumb
now that the processors are much faster than those at the time the
the decision was made... At that time nobody could imagine to write
such code in a HLL and now this is the prefered way.

I have no idea what could bite you with interrupt servers. If you follow
the documentation, understand your compiler system and don't make mistakes
your code should work :-P
